Volunteer

ATRAVES is a leading international volunteer organization in Nicaragua. We coordinate schools and community organizations to place individual volunteers and delegations in their service, working intensively with hosts and guests to make their work creative, appropriate, meaningful and effective. We help volunteers to design and realize their own projects, making each volunteer's experience unique. Volunteers become members of ATRAVES and are invited to continue their work after their stay in Nicaragua is completed.

Please note that ATRAVES is a non-religious, non-partisan organization that cannot allow its volunteer positions to be used for religious or partisan campaigning. Individuals interested in missionary work, or electoral work in support of candidates for political office, are respectfully invited to explore other options.
